We R Love 2021 Holiday Service Event!

On Monday, December 13th, the We R Love Foundation conducted our first-ever service project! We packed 90 bags of food, including trail mix, canned chicken, peanut butter, and other nutritional snacks. These packages went to homeless families served by a local charity: Vogel Alcove. This nonprofit provides families with food packages every day; however, they are closed Christmas week. This means these families would not have been able to access food during that time. We saw this need and filled it by raising money to buy the necessary food items and gathering volunteers to fill the 90 food packages. It is vital to give to our community during the holidays, when we reflect on what we are grateful for and what so many struggle to access: food and shelter.
